Life with twins isn’t perfect. It’s crazy, messy, wild, fun, incredible, and (at times) thrilling, but it’s never EVER perfect. We want to show the world the TRUE reality of parenting twins. You know, where you have to take 20 photos of your twins just to get ONE that’s kind of OK!
We would LOVE to collect REAL #TwinLife photos to use on the Twiniversity website and social media. There’s way too much “perfection” on Instagram and Facebook and that’s just NOT real life! What you see on social media is what people WANT you to see. But if everyone does that, it just makes us all feel like we’re doing something wrong. We’ve got to share the bad with the good to normalize real life with kids. And Twiniversity is leading the charge!
Click here to upload your photos for our consideration. You will need to log in with a Google account to upload photos into the form. Your photos may be used on the Twiniversity website, social channels, promotional materials, and other Twiniversity media. You will need to agree to a photo release in the form before submitting your photos.
Some examples of photos we’re looking for:
- Pregnancy reality
- Exhausted mom
- Exhausted dad
- Postpartum reality
- Trying to feed 2 babies at once (but safely — no bottle propping)
- Crying babies (and also crying parents!)
- Twins making a mess in the house
- Twins doing insane things
- Messes, like dirty dishes in the sink, demolished playrooms, etc.
- Hair that hasn’t been washed in days and makeup that’s still half-on
- Bathtime insanity
- Kids that got into the diaper cream
- Poop smeared on the walls
- You get the picture. We want the real deal. Real life with twins photos!
- SLEEPING BABIES PHOTOS NOTE: If the photo is of your babies (under 12 months old) sleeping, they have to be sleeping flat on their backs in a crib with only a fitted sheet. No loose blankets, pillows, etc. as these are a sleep safety hazard. Also no photos of babies sleeping in a reclined seat, swing, or other unsafe position (but if they are awake in the photo, that’s OK to submit.)
- CAR SEAT PHOTOS NOTE: Photos of kids in car seats? We love them! Just one thing: They need to be strapped in properly.
