Dear Twin Mamas,
I first came across Twiniversity while doing research for online resources for new twin moms. I began to read the beautiful personal essays while I was pumping for my little preemies. As soon as the girls started sleeping through the night I began writing articles and personal essays for Twiniversity. Since my pregnancy and delivery story was not rosy I was grateful to have found Twiniversity that provided me with a platform to share my story. After my first few essays were published I began receiving messages from Twiniversity readers across the country that resonated with my story. I’m so grateful and feel blessed to have found this amazing twin community.
As we all know being a parent of twins is not for the faint of heart. Most twin moms when they bring their babies home from the hospital focus on trying to sleep and get some sanity–but I started a writing a book–would you believe? After spending almost two months on bed rest and one strand of heart-wrenching complications after another… I decided I had to do something to leave hope, encouragement, and a legacy for not only my girls, but for ALL other moms who might experience the same despair that I went through. I knew my story had to be used to inspire other women in my shoes.
“Twin to Twin is a compelling story of motherhood, told with passion, precision, and power.”
—Marya Hornbacher, New York Times Bestselling author of Wasted and Madness
Bit by bit – over the past four years – the work Twin to Twin transformed from sleep-deprived scribbles on a notepad to a 300-page manuscript (I still can’t believe it is a reality!)
And, I am so excited to have my Twiniversity family behind me in full support!
I was determined to share the story of my high-risk pregnancy, near-death experience, and NICU experience in hopes that it would help others going through a painful and difficult experience.
I’m excited to bring you along on this journey with me. Twin to Twin lands December 15th and is available for purchase now on Amazon, Barnes and Noble and IndieBound.
I’m hard at work trying to spread the word. I would love to share with you my book trailer.
Thank you to my Twiniversity family for supporting me and encouraging me over these past few years. If you would like to keep in touch, you can send me a message and sign up here to receive my newsletters.
All the best,
