Meet Super MoM Aisha Putnam!!

Every month Twiniversity recognizes a Super MoM of Multiples. This month we are proud to introduce you to Aisha Putnam as April 2016 Super MoM!

Aisha was nominated by her husband, Israel. Here is what Israel had to say about his amazing wife:

My wife, Aisha, is a SuperMom to our twin boys because she can accomplish anything and does it all with a smile and a laugh. If it’s 3am and she hasn’t slept for 36 hours straight, she still rocks our fussy ones down to sleep with the gentlest of coos. If there are taxes to get done in April, she has them done in February, despite it also being an incredibly busy month at her job where she is an executive level food scientist.

She’s managed all this despite coming from a home with an abusive, bipolar mom who never demonstrated proper love, care, and attention to her own kids. So much so, that Aisha had to raise her own little brother through his high school and college days while opening her own bakery and buying her first home so he could stay in the good school district and not be homeless.

Despite all that, she still takes care of me, her husband, in ways I don’t even know I need, and she does it all with a smile and a laugh! She is SuperMom!

We also spoke with Aisha and here is what she had to say about herself:

My name is Aisha Putnam, I’m 36 years old, the Director of Research & Development for Garrett Popcorn Shop, wife, and a new mother of twin boys. My favorite dessert to make is pastry cream parfait and my favorite dessert to eat is carrot cake. My hobbies are spending lots of endless time with my family, cooking, taking beautiful beach vacations, and enjoying life.

I must say that I am a proud wife who married a wonderful husband on April 21st, 2013, named Israel Putnam. He is my rock, stone, and soul. He loves me for me, on good days and bad days, and for better or worse! I am so blessed to have him in my life and having him as the father to our two beautiful boys.

When it comes to motherhood, I am so excited to be a new mom to our 8 month-old twin boys named, Nehemiah and Leighton Putnam. Even though my pregnancy had many hard obstacles that had me delivering early, at 34 weeks via caesarean, I couldn’t have asked for a better family.

Giving birth to these two precious gems has only made my life better, because I not only get to share my heart and love with my husband, but also with our TWO precious baby boys. As I look forward to the new exciting chapters opening in my life, I know that things will only get better as long as I have my 3 men with me forever and always by my side!
