A Real MoM Review
When we got our hands on the Ergobaby Evolve 3-in-1 Bouncer, we wanted a real MoM review. We sent the Evolve to our MoM friend, Emilee, who has 5-year-old twins and a 6-month-old. Emilee tried out all the features, including the toddler seat (can’t leave the twins out!), and gave us all the pros and cons (spoiler alert…they are all mostly pros, very few cons).
What’s the assembly like on the Ergobaby Evolve Bouncer?
One of the best phrases twin moms love to hear: NO assembly required! Unlike a swing, you just take it out of the box, and it is ready to use. Being a busy mom of 3 boys, I really appreciated this.
What awesome features does the Ergobaby Evolve Bouncer come with?
It comes with the infant insert, which was not included in the bouncers I bought for my twins when they were babies. The insert itself is also easy to remove, so it can grow with your babies.

How comfortable and secure is this bouncer?
The newborn insert is made from the same super soft material as the bouncer cover, and it is ergonomically designed to support your baby from head to hips right from the start. The lower portion focuses on creating an M-shaped hip position, while the upper part features specially crafted support to help prevent flat head syndrome.
The harness is good quality, and I felt comfortable that my baby was safe and secure. I also had peace of mind because the lock feature and buckles were sturdy – because we all know how much kids like to mess with things!
The Ergobaby Evolve Bouncer is a perfect blend of style and practicality.
The Evolve bouncer introduces style in the form of baby gear. You can choose from a variety of neutral colors, then add in the meticulous details, and it is very aesthetically pleasing to look at! Plus, it is great for babies to bounce and sit up in!
What did you LOVE about the Evolve?
The fabric is incredibly soft and features both a lightweight, soft cotton and a breathable mesh (still really soft to the touch). Most other bouncers only offer one or the other. I love that the Ergobaby has both.
One of my favorite features is that the cover is machine washable. This made it easy to keep clean. The cover was easy to remove and toss in the washer. Plus, the fabric remained soft, even after washing, and was easy to reattach.
I love the newborn insert, even though I didn’t really get to use it. I can’t help but think back on my newborn twins and what a HUGE help it would have been for that first month home!
The fold-flat feature is awesome! It folds up pretty small, so it easily slides under my bed or dresser.
What did you only LIKE about the Evolve bouncer?
Because it is designed to grow with your baby, I did find it to be a little bulkier than the bouncers I’ve used in the past. But this is in no way a deal-breaker; it is still lightweight and easy to store.
It took me a little while to figure out how to collapse it down flat, but once I got the hang of it, it was smooth.
My twins were not huge fans of the toddler seat, but they are a bit too big for it. However, it withstood their 5-year-old weight like a champ!
Overall, this would be a great gift for a new or experienced mama because of its quality and practicality. I’d definitely buy the Ergo 3-in-1 Bouncer for twins or singletons!
