Top 3 Pieces of Advice for Other Parents of Twins
1. Keep Them on the Same Schedule
Otherwise, you are constantly feeding or having one always awake and then you get no time for yourself.
2. Let Them Be Individuals
My two have very different personalities and clash quite a bit. They much prefer to play on their own and do separate things.
3. Individual Time
My third piece of advice is I like to take individual time with each kid. When I run errands or need to leave the house sometimes I just take one with me. I know that’s not an option for a lot of people, but we have a good support group that also likes to spend one on one time with them.

Top 3 Things You Wish You Had Done Differently
1. I Would Have Documented More With My 13-Month-Old Twins
The first 4 months to me were all a blur. I know I slept and I know the kids did, I just don’t remember a lot of it or when it happened. Before we got them on a good schedule I should have tried to spend more time journaling or writing things down to remember what that time was like.
2. I Would Have Taken More Time for Myself
I’m a person who likes to do everything on my own and am terrible at accepting help. I felt like for a long time I never stopped enough to breathe. You can’t do it all on your own.
3. I Wish I Would Have Sleep-Trained Earlier
My daughter was a bad sleeper and 9 times out of 10 would end up sleeping with me and my husband.
